Lawrence R. Lonergan serves as a Partner with the firm and has practiced corporate, commercial, securities, and real estate law in New York since 1992, and in New Jersey since 2007. Larry has successfully litigated complex matters in state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey throughout his career. Larry is a business-minded lawyer with substantial transactional experience in corporate, commercial, and real estate deals. His clients include publicly traded companies, developers, and pharmaceutical and technology companies.

Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Larry maintained a private practice that included serving as general counsel to entities to resolve commercial litigations, as well as corporate and commercial transactional matters. Larry has also defended a wide range of insurance defense matters for Xerox, Coca-Cola, and Welsbach Electric Co.

Over the past several years, Larry has established a portfolio of corporate and institutional clients in the emerging cannabis sector, handling their regulatory, transactional and litigation needs. Larry advises his clients on federal and state industry compliance, business and legal strategy, and negotiations. His extensive trial experience and knowledge of cannabis law enables Larry to provide his clients with profound insight and guidance in their complex cannabis litigation and transactional matters.

Larry remains active in the community and serves in several leadership roles for nonprofit charitable enterprises and is the current chairman of the Verona NJ Planning Board.

Larry is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and his admission in Oregon is currently pending. Larry is also a member of the Bar Association of the City of New York, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Hudson County Bar Association and the Regis (HS) Bar Association.
