Annie Causey is a partner in the Firm. Ms. Causey concentrates her practice in the Firm’s Commercial Litigation and Business Practice Groups. She has extensive courtroom experience, having litigated numerous and varied cases in the state and federal courts in New York. Ms. Causey also provides general counsel to businesses and individuals in the formation, negotiation, and protection of commercial interests arising in joint ventures, limited liability companies, partnerships, and closely-held corporations in the retail and real estate industries, and including domestic trademark investigations, applications, and portfolio management.

Ms. Causey routinely handles breach of contract, fiduciary duty, fraud, misrepresentation, and statutory and/or common law violations arising out of business dealings (e.g., sales of assets or securities; corporate restructuring; partnership, shareholder, joint venture, and other business agreements; trade secrets; restrictive covenants; and employment agreements). She also represents clients in shareholder derivative actions, and in disputes involving the internal affairs of business organizations, legal malpractice arising out of representation in commercial matters, and dissolutions of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies, and joint ventures.
